Hong Kong stocks close 1.43% higher

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks rose 273.81 points, or 1.43 percent, to close at 19,455.31 on Sept 16.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 19,454.74 and 19,652.53. Turnover totaled HK$71.56 billion ($9.19 billion).
